EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On June 22, 2021 the Board of Supervisors directed establishment of an advisory committee to conduct public participation meetings and provide comments on the Sixth Cycle (2023-2031) Housing Element Update. The Napa County Housing Element Advisory Committee (HEAC) will consist of up to thirteen (13) members of the community representing in the following areas:

Five (5) at-large members (1 appointee per Board member)
Two (2) members of the Planning Commission;
One (1) member of the Commission on Aging;
One (1) members of the Housing Commission;
One (1) accessory dwelling unit or farmworker representative;
One (1) residential developer;
One (1) affordable housing developer;
One (1) representative for the homeless.

The application process opened on July 28, 2021 and has remained open. As of the printing of this staff report, twelve (12) applications have been received. Copies of each application are on file with the Clerk of the Board and attached.
