EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Today's recommended action is to approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 230188B with NEWS, increasing the contract maximum by $7,350 to a new maximum of $67,350. The agreement is fully grant funded, from the Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Northern California Region, community benefit fund for the Monarch (Family) Justice Center, with no impact to the County General Fund.

Discretionary Justification:
The County received a grant from the Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, Northern California Region, community benefit fund to be utilized on the Monarch Justice Center. NEWS was identified as a partner agency, to provide a navigator for client needs assessment and navigate the services available in Napa County for victims of crime. The agreement is fully grant funded, with no impact to the County General Fund.
