Director of Housing & Homeless Services requests the approval of and authorization for the Chair to sign Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 190277B with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa increasing the annual maximum by $51,430 for a total of $360,000 per fiscal year for the term July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 to provide and operate an emergency shelter for families with minor children who are experiencing homelessness.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of today's requested action is to amend Agreement No. 190277B with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa (Catholic Charities) for the operation of an emergency shelter for families with minor children who are experiencing homelessness. All families are referred for placement in the family shelter through Napa County's Coordinated Entry System. Catholic Charities has operated the family shelter, known as "Rainbow House," since 2017.
This Amendment increases the annual contract maximum by $51,430 to $360,000. The increase is due to the rising costs of food, basic supplies, and staffing.

Discretionary Justification:
