EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Annual County Bridge Repairs Project focuses on completing minor repairs such as spall repairs and minor crack repairs as a cost-effective way to protect and preserve our county bridges. Nine (9) bridges have been identified which will benefit from minor maintenance now, which will minimize deterioration and save significant funds in the future. The annual maintenance work will be funded from SB-1.

The Board approved $500,000 in SB1 funding in Fund 2040, Org 2040500 and Project 22029.

Discretionary
Discretionary Justification:
Approval of the plans and specifications is necessary to move the project forward toward construction to improve public safety.
Is the general fund affected?
No
Future fiscal impact:
It is anticipated that all the work will be completed in fiscal year 2022-23 and the Roads fund will pay for future maintenance work.
Consequences if not approved:
If not approved, more costly and possibly more detrimental repairs may be needed in the future.
