County Fire Chief requests approval of and authorization for the Chair to sign the annual revenue agreement with the California Department of Veterans Affairs for a maximum of $984,023 for the term July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, for the provision of fire services at the State Veterans Home of California in Yountville.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Fire protection services in the Yountville area are provided through a three-way cost share between the County, the Veterans Home and the Town of Yountville. This Agreement provides for the Veterans Home's share of costs associated with the staffing and operating the Yountville Fire Station.

The maximum for the 2022-2023 Veterans Affairs Agreement is $965,189, which will support operations/maintenance and $18,833 will support engine replacement. The Agreement is written as a contract maximum; however, the Veterans Affairs will be billed based on actual services provided.
