County Executive Officer requests authorization for out of state travel for Supervisors Diane Dillon and Ryan Gregory to attend the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. from February 11, 2022 - February 18, 2022 at an estimated cost not to exceed $3,500, and meetings held with federal officials regarding legislative matters related to Napa County.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Today's action will authorize out of state travel for the Legislative Subcommittee members for
February 11, 2022 - February 18, 2022 to attend the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Legislative Conference and meet with federal officials.

Supervisors Dillon and Gregory will represent Napa County while attending the NACo Conference and meet with federal officials on land use issues impacting Napa County. The estimated cost of the travel not to exceed $3,500.

Consequences if not approved:
Funds will not be authorized for the hotel and flights. Nor will the County of Napa have representation at the meetings with congressional offices and federal officials.
