EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
FURS includes a statewide hotline as well as local mobile response teams to provide immediate trauma-informed support to current and former foster youth and their caregivers. County child welfare, probation, and behavioral health agencies are required to jointly-develop county-based, mobile response systems in all 58 counties. Approval of this agreement will allow On The Move to hire and train a Youth Advocate as a peer partner as part of the FURS in Napa County. The Youth Advocate will be available to respond to FURS calls from the Independent Living Program. In addition, the Youth Advocate will conduct outreach and resource navigation and participate in child and family team meetings, county work groups, policy and procedure development, and life conferences.
This Agreement has a maximum of $40,000 for the term December 14, 2021 through June 30, 2022. On The Move, Inc. is a local vendor.
