RECOMMENDATION

Director of Public Works requests approval and authorization for the Chair to sign an Agreement with Napa County Resource Conservation District for a maximum of $37,000 for the term of September 21, 2021 through April 30, 2024 to obtain specialized environmental monitoring and reporting services for the Napa River Restoration Project Oakville to Oak Knoll, Group D, Phase II.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The County has been awarded an $800,000 grant from California State Water Resources Control Board to fund implementation of Group D, Phase II of the Napa River Restoration Oakville to Oak Knoll (OVOK) project as well as environmental monitoring along the Napa River. This agreement will allow Napa County Resource Conservation District to provide the monitoring services described in the grant agreement scope of work.

None. The agreement with RCD will not continue past the term of the grant agreement providing the funding.
Consequences if not approved:
Napa County would need to contract with another entity to perform the monitoring services.
