EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The County has been awarded new grant from the State Water Resources Control Board. This grant and County Measure A funding will fund the completion of the Napa River Oakville to Oak Knoll (OVOK) Reach Restoration Project.

At this time, staff is recommending approval of a resolution to accept the new grant to fund the construction of OVOK Group D in the summer of 2021 and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute the agreement and any future amendments.

Is it currently budgeted? Yes
Where is it budgeted? Proceeds from the grant being accepted via resolution today total $800,000. The Board has previously approved grants from the Caltrans, the State Coastal Conservancy, The US Environmental Protection Agency, and the Wildlife Conservation Board. County Measure A matching funds have already been approved by the Board as part of Amendment No. 27 of the funding agreement with the Flood Authority.

Discretionary Justification: Acceptance of this grant is consistent with direction from the Board to supplement the County's share of Measure "A" tax revenues to accomplish projects of this type.
