RECOMMENDATION

Director of Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) requests approval of and authorization for the Chair to terminate the current Agreement No. 170738B with Mentis, Inc. for a maximum of $62,586; and sign a new Agreement No. 230135B with Mentis, Inc. for a maximum of $85,186 for the Fiscal Year 2022-2023, and each subsequent automatic renewal, for the provision of specialty mental health services for seriously mentally ill adults in a supportive permanent living environment.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Approval of this action will terminate our current Supportive Living Program (SLP) agreement and replace it with a new agreement, commencing in Fiscal Year 2022-2023, and each subsequent automatic renewal, due to multiple amendments to the original agreement. This new agreement updates medical necessity language per the new California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) state regulation requirements and updates Napa County Mental Health grievance procedures. Additionally, group rehabilitation services are added to the contractor's service structure.
Mentis Inc. is a local provider.
