BACKGROUND

The County’s policy to maintain a work environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation is reviewed periodically to comply with changes to the law and clarify definitions or processes. The proposed updates to the Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation Prevention Policy clarifies the process for investigations involving certain classifications. The clarification allows for transparency in the process for both the complainant and the subject of the complaint.
