CEQA STATUS: Consideration and possible adoption of a Categorical Exemption, Section 15302, Class 2; Replacement or Reconstruction, from the provisions of CEQA. The project site is not included on a list of hazardous materials sites compiled pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5.
REQUEST: Approval of a: 1) variance to allow a fire rebuild (2020 Glass Fire) for reconstruction of the Sterling Vineyards Winery’s gondola including two guide towers that would be approximately 58-feet and 88-feet tall, whereby Napa County Code(“NCC”) Section 18.104.120(D) establishes a 50-foot height maximum; and 2) exception to the Conservation Regulations in the form of a Use Permit to allow the placement of guide towers and loading stations on slopes greater than 30%.
