Interim County Executive Officer requests the appointment of one of the following nominees, as submitted by the Napa County City Selection Committee, as the Napa County Representative to serve on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) for a new four-year term commencing on February 10, 2023 and expiring on February 9, 2027:

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Pursuant to Government Code sections 66503 and 66504, the Napa County City Selection Committee (Committee) is required to submit a total of three nominees to the Napa County Board of Supervisors for appointment of a representative to serve on the MTC. The Committee met during special session and has provided the names of three nominees.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
MTC is the transportation planning, financing, coordination and management agency for the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area.
