EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The final designs of the Bale Slough - Bear Creek Restoration Project, Groups A-C, is now complete. This Project is related to the Rutherford and Oakville to Oak Knoll Restoration Projects within the Napa River watershed and will continue restoration activities to reduce sediment loads and enhance biological complexity throughout the river channel. Construction of the Group A restoration sites has been funded through state grants from the Wildlife Conservation Board and State Water Resources Control Board. With funding now in place, the Project is ready to go out to bid. Construction of Group A is anticipated to be completed in 2023 with completion of Groups B and C dependent on receiving additional grant funds.
