BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
Agreement No. 170943B provides for reimbursement of site inspections of vendors at Certified Farmer’s Markets and production site inspections. Inspections at production sites include verification that commodities grown on the site match those listed on the issued certificate. Inspections at market sites include verification of the producer’s certificate, a complete inventory of commodities on display, and ensuring compliance with CDFA laws and regulations. This agreement will reimburse the County a maximum of $2,791 to help offset the costs of enforcement work, mileage, and travel time.
