SUBJECT: Reporting of donations received by the Library April 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022
RECOMMENDATION

Director of Library Services and Community Outreach requests the Board to accept and instruct the Clerk of the Board to file the quarterly report of donations from April 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 for:
1. Amounts of $2,000 or less; and
2. Up to $10,000 by Friends of the Library groups.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Director of Library Services and Community Outreach is reporting that the Library received $8,385 in multiple donations during the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022. The donations were accepted by the Director in accordance with Napa County Library policy, Section 29 and deposited within the Library Fund.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
Board of Supervisors adopted Napa County Library policy, Section 29 authorizing the Library Director to accept on behalf of the Napa County Library donations in the amount of $2,000 or less and up to $10,000 by Friends of the Library groups to support existing Library services and programs. Today, the Director of Library Services and Community Outreach is reporting donations received during the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2021-2022 in the amount of $8,385.
The donations were deposited into the Library Fund accordingly and will be used to support ongoing projects and programs.
