EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Today's requested action is for the approval of an Agreement with AviatCare for technical engineering and software support in the amount of $23,163 with an annual payment of $7,721 for a three-year term. With AviatCare, the Communications department can continue access to 24/7 technical support essential for the County's Public Safety radio network.

AviatCare is not a local vendor.

This Agreement will allow Communications continued access to AviatCare's technical engineering and software support services.

Future fiscal impact:
ITS has budgeted funds in subdivision 42000-13 for the upcoming fiscal year and will continue to budget for the annual payment for the following two years of the agreement.
Consequences if not approved:
If not approved, Napa County Communications assumes a high level of risk if an incident or natural disaster occurs requiring the third-party support and logistics offered by AviatCare.
