Chief Information Officer requests approval of and authorization for the Chair to sign Agreement No. 230008B with AviatCare for a maximum of $23,163 for the term of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025 for technical engineering and software support.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Today's requested action is for the approval of an Agreement with AviatCare for technical engineering and software support in the amount of $23,163 with an annual payment of $7,721 for a three-year term. With AviatCare, the Communications department can continue access to 24/7 technical support essential for the County's Public Safety radio network.
AviatCare is not a local vendor.

This Agreement will allow Communications continued access to AviatCare's technical engineering and software support services.

Future fiscal impact:
ITS has budgeted funds in subdivision 42000-13 for the upcoming fiscal year and will continue to budget for the annual payment for the following two years of the agreement.
Consequences if not approved:
If not approved, Napa County Communications assumes a high level of risk if an incident or natural disaster occurs requiring the third-party support and logistics offered by AviatCare.
