EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As Chair of MTC, Supervisor Pedroza will lead a delegation of MTC commissioners and staff to advocate on regional transportation issues. The trip will be funded by MTC; there is no cost to Napa County.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is the Bay Area’s transportation and transit planning agency. Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza serves as Chair. Every year, the Chair leads a delegation to Washington, D.C. to advocate on behalf of MTC and Bay Area interests on transportation and transit issues. The MTC will be paying for the travel and other expenditures, at no cost to Napa County.
