EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of today's requested action is to amend Agreement No. 220165B to extend the term of the contract to January 31, 2023, and to, accordingly, replace the current exhibits for the Scope of Work and Compensation to modify the deadline dates and revise the amounts that are paid for deliverables, as they are completed. This amendment will allow more time for the development and submission of Napa County's Title IV-E Prevention Program Plan under the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2018 (FFPSA).

Discretionary Justification:
Consulting services to assist in development and submission of the FFPSA plan are not required under statute. However, obtaining the assistance of a national expert on the Family First Prevention Plan will allow the county to submit a high-quality plan to assure effective implementation of this Act.

Future fiscal impact:
This contract is scheduled to end January 31, 2023. Fiscal Year appropriations for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 will be budgeted accordingly.
