BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
On June 9, 2020, the Board of Supervisors awarded a construction contract for Taxiway H, Section 1 Reconstruction Project, PW20-20 (Project) along with entering into a professional service agreement Number 210009B (Agreement) with Mead and Hunt, Inc. (M&H) for providing construction management services.
Construction of the Project is substantially complete with the exception of a few minor items of work related to storm water management. The length of the project exceeded the contract length of the Agreement and needs to have the expiration date extended to allow M&H to complete the Agreement’s scope of work and close out the project. All work remaining is within the Agreement approved budget and no additional funds are needed.
The Director of Public Works recommends the Board approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement No. 210009B extending the expiration date to June 30, 2022.
