Approve and authorize out of state travel for Supervisor Belia Ramos and Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza to attend the 2024 Social Housing Field Study Trip in Vienna, Austria from July 14 to July 20, 2024. (No Fiscal Impact).

BACKGROUND
The Global Policy Leadership Academy (GPLA) has invited the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) staff and executives to participate in the upcoming Vienna Social Housing Field Study Trip from July 14 to July 20, 2024. Program participants will learn from and engage with GPLA key faculty and a variety of Viennese housing experts to gain firsthand knowledge about a proven model of social housing. Key topics include urban planning, construction, financing, land management, and community engagement. All travel expenses will be paid by the sponsoring organization.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
