BACKGROUND

NapaSan collects, treats, and disposes of wastewater for the residents and businesses in the City of Napa and surrounding unincorporated areas of Napa County. NapaSan’s mission is to protect the health of the public and the environment through responsible wastewater management. NapaSan strives to recover resources from the wastewater stream by producing recycled water, beneficially reusing biosolids, and creating green energy on-site to power the wastewater treatment process. The agency has a sewer service area of 21 square miles and a recycled water service area of 26 square miles. NapaSan has been serving the community since 1945.

The District recently completed a Purified Water Feasibility Study and has other projects in process.
