Approve and authorize Agreement No. 240378B with Aldea, Inc., and Agreement No. 240379B with Stanford Youth Solutions, Inc., each for $29,000 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, and each subsequent renewal, for the provision of Therapeutic Foster Care services for foster families. BACKGROUND
Based on State mandates, counties are charged with providing more intensive services for foster children and youth who meet specialty mental health medical necessity criteria, including the provision of Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) services. ?The TFC service model allows for the provision of short-term, intensive, highly coordinated, trauma informed, and individualized services to children and youth who have complex emotional and behavioral needs. Under this model, the trained TFC parent serves a key role in the delivery of trauma-informed interventions for the foster child or youth under the close supervision of one of the Foster Family Agencies' licensed clinicians. These agreements continue the provision of mandated TFC services with updated CalAIM language incorporated into the exhibits.
Requested Action:
1. Approve and authorize Agreement No. 240378B with Aldea, Inc., for $29,000 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, and each subsequent renewal; and
2. Approve and authorize Agreement No. 240379B with Stanford Youth Solutions, Inc., for $29,000 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, and each subsequent renewal.
