BACKGROUND
Parent-Child Advocacy Network, Inc. (ParentsCAN) provides vital services to families whose children are in the mental health system. Services include outreach, advocacy, and training, particularly for Latino and Spanish-speaking families, helping them navigate the mental health system and other resources in the community. ParentsCAN coordinates with County services and trains staff on available family resources. The contractor produces biannual bilingual newsletters, administers respite service funds by issuing vouchers and processing payments, and manages flex funds to support families in County behavioral health programs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
