RECOMMENDATION

title

Receive a presentation on Napa County’s post-disaster recovery planning. (No Fiscal Impact)

body

BACKGROUND

Napa County Office of Emergency Services (OES) developed and continually updates the county’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). OES found a gap in the planning and documentation of the county’s recovery efforts. An annex specifically targets the recovery process from short-term, intermediate, to long-term recovery in Napa County, was developed to address the gaps found in planning and documentation. Although, a debris management annex was previously adopted with earlier versions of the EOP, it did not encompass recovery efforts outside of debris management. Napa County OES has developed an additional annex to support.

Requested Action: Receive a presentation and provide feedback on Napa County’s post-disaster recovery planning.
