RECOMMENDATION

title

Adopt a Resolution to rescind and replace Resolution No. 2026-75, adopted June 23, 2026, to correct Exhibit “A,” which deleted the incorrect classification of Mental Health Worker Aide. (No Fiscal Impact; Discretionary)

body

BACKGROUND

On June 23, 2026, the Board adopted Resolution No. 2026-75, which included Exhibit “A.” Exhibit “A” of the original Resolution amended the Table and Index of Classes by deleting the Mental Health Worker Aide and adding the Certified Peer Support Specialist with the Mental Health Worker Aide salary grade. If approved, this request will rescind and replace the prior Resolution to amend the Table and Index of Classes by deleting the Mental Health Worker I and adding the Certified Peer Support Specialist with the Mental Health Worker I salary grade which is what the County and SEIU met and conferred on. The correction is reflected in Exhibit “A-1” of this Resolution.

Requested Action:

Adopt a Resolution to rescind and replace Resolution No. 2026-75, to correct Exhibit “A” to Exhibit “A-1,” effective June 20, 2026.
