RECOMMENDATION

Reappoint Kimberly Richard for a third term representing Public at Large; Evelyn Denzin for a third term representing the Natural Resources Conservation Service; and Barry Christian for a fifth term representing the Napa County Regional Parks and Open Space District on the Watershed Information and Conservation Council of Napa County with terms of office to commence immediately and expire on August 1, 2028. (No Fiscal Impact)

BACKGROUND
There are currently four openings due to term expirations on the Watershed Information and Conservation Council of Napa County. The County Executive Office advertised the openings and received three reappointment requests from Kimberly Richard, Evelyn Denzin, and Barry Christian.
The Watershed Information and Conservation Council of Napa County (WICC) is charged with guiding and supporting community efforts to maintain and improve the health of Napa County's watershed lands by coordinating and facilitating partnerships among the individuals, agencies, and organizations involved in improving watershed health and restoration; supporting watershed research activities; and providing watershed information and education through an interactive website. The WICC is an important forum for developing solutions to watershed issues and concerns and is guided by a set of adopted principles that embrace political neutrality, information collection and dissemination, collaboration, cooperation and funding development.
The WICC consists of seventeen (17) regular members and seven (7) alternate members representing the following areas:
