BACKGROUND
Currently, the Food Services Coordinator classification in the Juvenile Hall kitchen is not a supervisory classification. The kitchen is directly managed by the Chief Deputy Probation Officer. To meet audit requirements set by the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC), and to streamline efficiencies inside the kitchen, the Chief Probation Officer requested deleting the Food Services Coordinator classification, and adding a supervisory level allocation.

Human Resources reviewed the Probation Department's request for a Food-Laundry Services Supervisor position to replace the Food Services Coordinator, and determined that an update was needed since the classification was created to meet the Napa County Department of Corrections needs.
