EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Approval of today's action will enable the Napa County Board of Supervisors to receive the Napa County Mental Health Board (MHB) Annual Report for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-2022 that will be presented by Kristine Haataja, MHB Vice-Chair. The Annual Report includes an Executive Summary, which outlines key concerns and recommendations; Accomplishments of the Napa County Mental Health Division; and Status of the Mental Health Board and Goals & Accomplishments.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The MHB is comprised of fifteen members from a diverse background. The MHB includes Supervisor Gregory, family members of people experiencing mental illness, concerned citizens and consumers. The MHB members participate in fifteen committees and workgroups in the County that are focused on critical key areas of mental health services, including, among others, the Promoting Integrated Care Workgroup, Cultural Competency Committee and Veterans Commission. The purpose of the MHB is to support HHSA in the provision of high-quality mental health services and programs across Napa County.

In FY 2021-2022 the MHB focus was on meeting goals and objectives developed by the MHB Executive Committee. The two objectives were supported by nine goals. In tot...
