BACKGROUND
Today's action will approve a professional services agreement with Fortify Fire Protection effective June 2, 2026, with a maximum compensation amount beginning in fiscal year 2026-27 through fiscal year 2028-29 of $16,000 for both Routine Service and Non-Routine services with the provision for two one-year automatic renewal options.

Napa County's current agreement for fire alarms systems testing, inspection, and maintenance services is expiring as of June 30, 2026. As part of a competitive procurement process and in accordance with County purchasing policy, County staff issued a Request for Proposal (RFP No. PMI122501) for these services on December 3, 2025. Eight companies submitted proposals in response to the RFP. The proposals were scored according to predetermined weighted criteria: company history, experience, qualifications, approach to scope of work, and pricing. Fortify Fire Protection distinguished themselves as the most qualified company and was selected by the panel to provide Napa County with contracted fire alarms systems testing, inspections, and maintenance services.
