Approve and authorize Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 210369B with Innovative Interfaces Inc. to update product type from “Vega Premium Discover” within the contract to, “Vega Discover Consortia” for the library Polaris subscription. (No Fiscal Impact; Discretionary)

BACKGROUND
On December 19, 2023, the board approved Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 210369B with Innovative Interfaces Inc. to allow the Napa County Library to continue subscription services, add Vega Premium Discover subscription, and increase the contract maximum and term. The Vega Premium Discover software brings together the library’s enterprise system with modern patron engagement.
At the request of the Innovative Interfaces Inc., the library must update product type from “Vega Premium Discover” within the contract to, “Vega Discover Consortia” due to the fact that it is part of a consortia for the Polaris system sharing subscription along with the Napa Valley College and Solano Community College. This change will not impact the price of Vega Discover but it required to documenting the correct license SKU and product type.
Requested action:
Approval of and authorization to sign Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 210369B with Innovative Interfaces Inc. update product type from “Vega Premium Discover” within the contract to “Vega Discover Consortia” in the library Polaris subscription with no additional fiscal impact.
