EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Idemia Identity & Security USA, LLC (Idemia) provides vital maintenance and repair services for the software and hardware associated with the LiveScan located at the Juvenile Hall. This vendor will be available to provide on-site maintenance of the equipment, nine business hours a day, five business days a week.

Discretionary Justification:
The Agreement is to have maintenance and repair services for the Live Scan machine in the event the need arises.

Yes
Future fiscal impact:
LiveScan fingerprinting support services is an ongoing expense, and budgeted accordingly in future fiscal years.
Consequences if not approved:
If the agreement is not approved, vital fingerprinting systems will be suspended if a system breakdown occurs. The LiveScan is needed to fingerprint individuals upon booking at the Juvenile Hall.
