Approve and authorize Amendment No. 4 to Agreement No. 230252B with Universal Protection Services, LP, dba Allied Universal Security Services, to update the scope of work to add a posted security guard at the South Campus Building B and increase maximum compensation for routine services due to this increase in services effective February 2, 2025. BACKGROUND
Approval of Amendment No. 4 to Agreement No. 230252B will update the scope of work to include routine posted security services at 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, Bldg. B during regular business hours. Health and Human Services has identified the need for a consistent safety presence in Building B. Building A currently has posted security staff.
The maximum compensation for each fiscal year beginning FY 24/25 will increase to accommodate this additional posted security guard location. Maximum compensation for non-routine services will remain the same. Maximum compensation under the agreement will increase by $30,022 in FY 2024-25 for a new maximum of $576,051, increase to $640,805 in FY 2025-26, and increase to $658,913 in FY 2026-27.
On October 17, 2023, the Board approved Amendment 3 to the agreement to update the scope of work to include routine posted security services in the lobby of the County Administration Building thereby increasing maximum compensation to $505,931 in FY 2023-24 and $546,029 in FY 2024-25. Maximum compensation increased in optional contract years 4-5 to $563,845 in FY 2025-26, and $579,644 in FY 2026-27
