EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

At the last Board meeting, the Board agreed to move regular meetings to the third Mondays of the month. Shortly after the meeting, staff realized that the third Mondays of January is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a holiday. The purpose of this agenda item is to discuss potential alternate days in January for regular Board meetings. If an alternate date is agreed upon, staff will return at the May meeting with an amendment to the Bylaws to memorialize the new meeting date for the months of January.

FISCAL & STRATEGIC PLAN IMPACT

Discretionary

Discretionary Justification:

A change to the meeting date in January is necessary to avoid meeting on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a holiday.
