Director of Public Works requests approval of plans and specifications for the "Sullivan Parking Lot Rehabilitation Project", PW 20-34, authorization to advertise for sealed bids, and opening of the bids at a time, date and location to be published by the Director of Public Works pursuant to Section 20150.8 of the Public Contract Code.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Sullivan parking lot has deteriorated over the years and is developing potholes and large cracks raising concerns for public safety. The Sullivan Parking Lot Rehabilitation Project will repair and resurface the parking lot pavement. Plans and specification are complete and presented to the Board of Supervisors (Board) for approval and authorization to advertise the project. Funding for the project will come from Property Management's budget. The estimated construction cost is approximately $230K. Public Works staff will return to the Board with a detailed budget based on the lowest bid at time of construction contract award and will request a budget transfer from Property Management to fully fund the project.
