Sunrise Ranch Winery Wicked Wine Run – Category 4 Temporary Event Application #P26-00205
CEQA Status: Ministerially Exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The project site is not included in the list of hazardous materials sites pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5.
Request: Approval of an application for Temporary Event License P26-00205 filed by Justin Ross of Wicked Wine Run LLC to hold Wicked Wine Run at Sunrise Ranch Winery. This event will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11:30am-5:30pm with a maximum of 1,500 people in attendance. This event is proposed to be held on one parcel located at Sunrise Ranch Winery, 1 Kirkland Ranch Rd, American Canyon, CA 94503, Assessor’s Parcel # 057-140-015-000.
Staff Recommendation: Find that the project is Ministerially Exempt from CEQA and approve the Temporary Event Application.

2. Approve the Temporary Event Category 4 License P26-00205.
Discussion: On August 20, 2026, Justin Ross applied for a permit for a Category 4 Temporary event to be held at Sunrise Ranch Winery on Assessor’s Parcel #057-140-015-000 on October 10, 2026, for a maximum of 1,500 people from 11:30am - 5:30pm. The event will be opened to the public and the number of attendees will be controlled by number of tickets sold.
