County Executive Officer requests approval of and authorization for the Chair to sign Amendment No. 3 to Agreement No. 230252B with Universal Protection Services, LP, dba Allied Universal Security Services (Allied Universal), for an annual maximum of $505,931 in FY 2023-24, $546,029 in FY 2024-25, $563,845 in FY 2025-26, and $579,644 in FY 2026-27 for the term January 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025, with two additional one-year annual renewal options, for security and patrol services.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The County contracts for security and patrol services with Allied Universal at properties owned or occupied by the County. The initial agreement was approved December 13, 2022, and two amendments have been approved. Amendment 1 in March 2023 provides for additional routine services and Amendment 2 in August 2023 adds a guard to a new location. Today's requested action is to approve Amendment 3 to provide a security guard in the lobby of the County Administration Building.
