title

Approve and authorize Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 220310B with Granicus to extend the term through June 30, 2025 for assistance with detection, investigation, and management of short-term rentals in the unincorporated areas of Napa County. (No Fiscal Impact; Discretionary)

body

BACKGROUND

In January 2022, the County entered into Agreement No. 220310B with Granicus to assist detection, investigation, and management of illegal short-term rentals in the unincorporated areas of Napa County. County staff use the tolls provided by Granicus to investigate, detect, and deter short-term rental activity in the County. The County has seen a large reduction in short-term rental advertisement activity within the unincorporated areas of the County. The County would like to amend the agreement to extend the term of the agreement through June 30, 2025, with no increase to the maximum compensation of $22,165 per fiscal year, for the term July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
