Approve and authorize Agreement No. 8697 (NCGSA) between the Napa County Groundwater Sustainability Agency, Napa County and the State Water Resources Control Board to coordinate and incorporate the Napa County Groundwater Sustainability Agency's groundwater hydrologic model into the State Water Resources Control Board's water supply model for the Napa River Watershed. BACKGROUND
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) involves an agreement between the Napa County Groundwater Sustainability Agency (NCGSA), Napa County, and the State Water Resources Control Board. This request for approval is related to item 25-780 for consideration by Napa County and requires both Napa County and NCGSA approval to enter an MOU with the State Water Board. Please see item 25-780 for a detailed background discussion leading to the decision to enter a MOU between the parties. As this MOU pertains to an agreement between the NCGSA, Napa County and the State Water Board, this agreement relates to an item for the Board of Directors of the NCGSA.
Requested Action:
Approve and authorize the Chair of the Board of Directors of the NCGSA to sign a MOU between the NCGSA, Napa County and the State Water Board to coordinate and incorporate the NCGSA's groundwater hydrologic model into the State Water Board's water supply model for the Napa River Watershed.
