BACKGROUND

The County previously entered into Agreement No. 170438B with Goldfarb & Lipman LLP to provide certain specialized legal services that include drafting of loan documents for affordable housing projects and specialized work on housing related issues. The Agreement was most recently amended on August 11, 2020. County Counsel requests approval of the Fourth Amendment to the Agreement, updating the rates connected to the scope of work agreement with Goldfarb & Lipman in their continued representation of the County in connection with various matters requiring specialized legal expertise.  Under the proposed Amendment, the updated rates would be effective as of July 1, 2025.

Requested Action: Approve and authorize Amendment No. 4 to Agreement No. 170438B with Goldfarb & Lipman LLP.
