body
BACKGROUND
In December of 2022, the County entered into Agreement No. 230266B with Mead & Hunt to assist in preparing the necessary environmental analysis under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and complete an update to County's existing Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUC) (last updated in 1999) and to assist with land use analysis and stakeholder outreach as part of the update process.

At the July 17, 2024, Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan Adoption hearing the update was continued to September 18, 2024, to allow staff to address several comments from stakeholders and property owners received just before the hearing.

The County would now like to amend the existing Agreement 230266B to allocate an additional $50,000, on a Time and Expenses basis, to cover work necessary to address stakeholder concerns, prepare Response to Comments and consider potential changes to the existing Draft ALUCP.
