BACKGROUND
Welfare and Institutions Code Section 14087.54 authorizes the implementation of a county organized health system. Partnership Health Plan of California Commission (Commission) is a multi-county commission that has created a Medi-Cal managed health care plan for Medi-Cal recipients. Napa County has participated in the Commission since 1994. The Commission is expanding to include new Counties in 2024. Currently, the Commission serves 14 Northern California Counties, including; Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Napa, Shasta Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Trinity, and Yolo.
