BACKGROUND

At the regular meeting of the Board held on November 12, 2024, the Chair referred to the County Executive Officer the matter of composing a position statement regarding the Board’s support for Napa’s immigrant community.  Staff used the Board’s March 2017 statement on immigration and May 2021 statement on violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community as a foundation for a new position statement.

2.                     Public comment.

3.                     Motion, second, discussion and vote on the item.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: The proposed action is not a project as defined by 14 California Code of Regulations 15378 (State CEQA Guidelines) and therefore CEQA is not applicable.
