BACKGROUND
CPS HR Consulting is a Joint Powers Authority that has assisted government agencies for approximately 40 years. Since 2009, CPS HR Consulting has provided the County with a variety of human resources services. This agreement allows CPS HR Consulting to provide classification and base salary studies which are often time-sensitive and complex. The County is currently utilizing their services to conduct a department-wide classification and compensation study, with a second department-wide classification and compensation study planned.
This Second Amendment increases the contract maximum from $79,000 to $180,000, which is not a guaranteed sum, to allow for multiple department-wide studies in a fiscal year if necessary. This agreement also extends the contract term for another fiscal year, with the option to automatically renew for an additional two fiscal years.
