RECOMMENDATION

title

Approve and authorize extension of Agreement A-180326C with NextRequest through June 30, 2028 for public records request management. (No Fiscal Impact; Discretionary)

body

BACKGROUND

NextRequest is an all-in-one web-based platform for managing record requests across agencies. In 2017 agreement A-180326C was signed by the County Executive Officer for the record request management and document modules, unlimited users in specified departments, fully hosted and maintained software, and dedicated customer support staff.

NextRequest is a countywide contract administered by ITS that renewed annually. To avoid an amendment to the agreement which could result in a more costly pay structure, staff recommends extension of the agreement through June 30, 2028.

Requested Action:
Approve and authorize extension of Agreement A-180326C with NextRequest through June 30, 2028.
