BACKGROUND

The Board of Supervisors may allocate community grant funds for nonprofit support and community benefit. The purpose of this allocation is to sponsor Community Summer Swim Days at the community pool to encourage community members to be active and connect with other community members. These will be free to attend and open to all community members.

Requested Action: Approve and authorize the allocation of Board of Supervisors’ District 5 community grant funds to sponsor Community Summer Swim Days.
