BACKGROUND
During the period of September 22, 2025 to January 22, 2026 Napa Berryessa Resort Improvement District staff required services of a contractor for 1) the immediate repair of three water distribution leaks and a sewer collection system lateral (Agreement 260289B, $17,999.10), 2) to provide access to and replace the failed redundant raw water supply intake pump for the water treatment plant (Agreement 260290B, $35,836.18), and 3) to modify pipe connections within two pre-settling tanks at the water treatment plant to combat existing operational challenges with raw water conditions to remain in compliance with the District's regulatory permit
(Agreement 260291B, $38,074.85).
Cumulatively, the cost of these repairs performed by Pridmore Brothers Construction, when combined with charges for previous work performed by the same contractor, exceed the Purchasing Agent's annual maximum authority ($87,600 for FY 2025-26) per vendor without Board approval. All work was completed at or below fair market value for scoped services if time permitted competitive solicitations.
Requested Action: Approve and authorize Pridmore Brothers Construction, Inc. Agreement Nos. 260289B, 260290B and 260291B totaling $91,911 for urgent repairs made to water and sewer utilities.
