EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Napa County Library has received a total of $35,500 in grant funding from the California State Library to continue implementing its ESL Grant program. Today, the Library is requesting Board acceptance of funding for State of California Literacy grant. Approval will enable the Library to continue to expand ESL services throughout the county.

Discretionary Justification:
Approval of the requested action will enable the funds to be utilized to support the Napa County Library Literacy Center ESL program.

No
Future fiscal impact:
The funds will be deposited in the Library's Literacy operating budget and will be utilized within the current fiscal year.
Consequences if not approved:
If the requested action is not approved, the Library will not be able to accept the funds, nor expand the Library's Literacy ESL programs.
