BACKGROUND
On July 22, 2025 the Board approved renewal of a revenue agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for a maximum of $128,036 for the term July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 for reimbursement of services for the Statewide Pest Detection Program (placing, monitoring, reporting, and inspection of insect traps).
CDFA has subsequently identified $10,225 to support survey activities related to the Spotted Lantern Fly for a new agreement total of $138,261. Approval of the requested action will allow the Agricultural Commissioner's office to satisfy the contractual requirements.
