body

BACKGROUND

County Service Area No.4 (CSA No.4) is a special district that imposes an annual assessment on property owners who have one acre or more of planted vineyard acres. Funding provides support for the three farmworker centers known as the Calistoga, Mondavi, and River Ranch Centers. Due to unanticipated legal services in quarter 3 related to the CSA No.4 exemption process, additional appropriation is needed to ensure continued and adequate provision of services through the end of the fiscal year.

Requested Action: Approve a budget amendment to increase appropriation in the amount of $10,000 in Fund 2810, Subdivision 2810000 - County Service Area No.4, Account 52140 - Legal Services, offset by the use of  fund balance.
